Chocolate Covered Apple Slices. On a cutting board or parchment paper, place all the toppings separately. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together over a double boiler.
Make a small slit to the bottom of the slices so you can insert the wooden stick easily. First, wash the apples and dry well. Dip apple slices into caramel and shake off excess.
Dip each apple slice into the chocolate, then roll into a topping.
Soak the apples in the lemon juice mixture, rinse and then place them on a paper towel to dry.
While the apples are chilling, place caramel squares in a microwave-safe bowl. Take a bite into these chocolate covered apples and your taste buds will thank you. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
