Chocolate Caramel Cup Cakes. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, and salt. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder & salt.
Set aside for a few minutes to cool slightly. They are fluffy, tender with the most amazing chocolate and caramel notes without being overly sweet. These Chocolate Caramel Cupcakes are rich and sweet treats!
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder & salt into a large bowl and add the butter.
Combine the buttermilk, eggs and coffee mixture in a second bowl.
Stop your mixer and scrape down the side of the bowl using a spatula. Sift the cocoa powder in a separate bowl. Heat, stirring until the caramels melt and the mixture is smooth.
