Chocolate Mug Cake With Egg. Add in the milk, oil, egg & chocolate chips and whisk until you have a smooth cake batter. Add milk, canola oil, and vanilla extract and stir until smooth, being sure to scrape the bottom of the mug.
Add in the egg, cocoa powder, and baking powder and mix until even. Add the egg, oil, milk and vanilla and stir well until combined and smooth. You want enough head space for the cake to rise without pouring over.
The recipe is designed for the microwave instead of the oven so uses a different ratio of wet to dry ingredients.
If using a larger mug, feel free to double the recipe!
Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour batter into a microwave-safe mug. In a microwaveable mug mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt with a fork.
